What is included in the cost of Training?
You will receive the training weekend, the Ballet Beats® Manual, one month of streaming and a virtual or in-person membership at Ballet Beats® Studio.
What do I need to complete prior to attending training?
You will be sent some homework to complete prior to training (approximately 15 hours). You are required to attend a minimum of 10 classes in the two month period before/after the training. This will ensure you are physically able to complete the training and prepare you to teach. These classes can be completed at Ballet Beats® studio or via Ballet Beats® virtual classes (or streaming) or at an affiliate studio.
what can I do with the training?
Ballet Beats® Teacher Training is a well-rounded teacher training program. You will learn and develop the skills required to teach Ballet-based fitness classes. The information gained can also assist you in teaching other forms of movement. Aside from teaching, you will enhance your own student experience, gain confidence, and become a more educated mover.
Upon completion of the training weekend and your feedback classes we will asses if you are ready to become a certified Ballet Beats® Instructor. We reserve the right to require additional training if a participant is not ready to teach the Ballet Beats® Method. We hold very high standards for who we allow to teach Ballet Beats® to ensure we maintain the integrity of the program.
You will only be permitted to use the Ballet Beats® name and syllabus if you become a licensee. We encourage anyone who wants to learn more about being a teacher to take our training as you will gain valuable insight into the world of teaching. We offer a safe place to see if teaching is right for you. If you do not become certified to teach our program, you will still be able to use the valuable information taught at this training to enhance another style or program that is more suited for you to teach.
am I guaranteed employment at Ballet Beats® studio?
We do not guarantee employment at the studio. You are welcome to apply whenever a position becomes available. We only hire teachers who have completed Ballet Beats® Teacher Training.
What is included in licensing?
The Ballet Beats® Method is made up of 1000’s of exercises. Each exercise is filmed and accompanied by a written syllabus. There are 8 set series in each class style (Barre, Beats, & Lift) where you simply follow the exact class plan and teach the set series. The Additional Materials component includes set exercises that can be linked together to create your own series. Additional Materials includes Warm-ups, Warm-Up Add-ons, Cardio Series, Kicks and Lunges, Mat Series, Core Series, etc.
once certified, where can i teach the program?
Should you choose to license the Ballet Beats® program, it becomes your own business. You will have access to the program and marketing materials. You must obtain approval of where you plan to teach the program. We reserve the right to refuse the program being taught at venues that are not in alignment with our values.
